Contax G1 silver label conversion to green label
Contax G1 cameras come in two versions: silver label (or “white label”) and green label. The original version is the white label, while the green label was introduced later to support new lenses: the 21mm and 35mm. Previously, it was possible to update the first version, but this service is no longer available. However, by following the Contax G2 repair manual and some blog posts, you can do it yourself.
